The Saturday Club is for children with physical disabilities between the ages 8 - 16. The club enables parents to have a full day’s respite allowing them to spend time with other siblings or time for themselves. At the club the children participate in a range of different activities including arts and crafts, drama & creative writing. Last year we put on our first Christmas play: The Grinch, which was a great success. The children were involved in choosing the play, developing the writing and building the set. All children are encouraged to participate in different aspects in regards to what is appropriate to them.
Money raised through PYT will pay for trips, activities and equipment that would otherwise not be possible because of their limited funding.
PYT is pleased to announce that it successfully raised £5000 for the Saturday Club - expect a full report here soon!
